    Surely anyone who is in need of a mobile phone and is responsible carries a spare with them. I certainly do. Also, it is good to use a phone without a gps chip, and one from which you can remove the battery, for those situations when you do not want your location to be traceable. Carrying a "smart-phone"? You must be nuts.
